The Purple Metallic Hornet was first bred by master breeder Hop from Taiwan. It is most well known for the tiger-stripe pattern with a metallic sheen on the back, which was bred out of the Fancy Tiger. The pattern is characterized by a very broad dorsal stripe that dissolves downward into a finer pattern on the head carapace and partially on the body of the shrimp. Known for a purple metallic head and stunning yellow stripes, this is one of the rarest shrimp varieties on the market!
