The Purple Metallic Tiger (also known as the Purple Hornet) is one of the rarest and most visually striking Caridina shrimp available today. Its shimmering metallic “armor” and subtle purple tones make it an immediate standout in any high-end display tank.
Originally developed by master breeder Hop from Taiwan, this line traces its lineage back to Fancy Tigers. The Purple Metallic Tiger is admired for its unique blend of tiger striping and metallic plating across the head and back.
This line produces purple metallic head plates, yellow striping, and intricate pattern variations that collectors value highly.
Each shrimp may feature:
