Originally developed from the Galaxy Fishbone lineage, this shrimp features a striking blend of deep black and golden-yellow hues that become more pronounced with age.

Each Yellow Boa boasts a unique dorsal pattern, characterized by a bold stripe that gradually dissolves into intricate markings across the head and body. The contrast between its metallic overlay and warm yellow base creates a visually stunning effect, making it a standout choice for Caridina keepers.

Boa shrimp are graded based on pattern intensity:

• 🌟 Grade S & SS: Some transparent areas, with visible patterning
• 💛 Grade SSS: Nearly full-body color coverage, with deeper yellow and a more intense metallic effect

All shrimp are disease-free and aquarium-safe, bred in controlled environments for healthy and stable individuals.

Note: All Caridina shrimp are sold as unsexed juveniles, typically between 1/4" and 1/2" in size when possible.

⚠️ Boa shrimp are known to be more delicate than other Caridina varieties. Stable water parameters and a mature, well-established tank are crucial for their success.

• Tank Mates: Other Taiwan Bee shrimp or peaceful nano fish

Tips for Success:
Yellow Boa Shrimp require a well-cycled aquarium with soft, acidic water and ample biofilm for grazing. Due to their sensitivity, consistent water parameters and a low-stress environment are essential for their longevity and potential breeding.
