The Orange Hornet was first bred by master breeder Hop from Taiwan. It is most well known for the tiger-stripe pattern with a metallic sheen on the back, which was bred out of the Fancy Tiger. The pattern is characterized by a very broad dorsal stripe that dissolves downward into a finer pattern on the head carapace and partially on the body of the shrimp.

One of the rarest and newest strains of Caridina, now only made available in the USA.

Logistics problem

The shrimp were decent. I was lucky they arrived alive—fedex was a whole day late and they spent 12+hours on a truck in 90 degree weather. The water was extremely hot. I drip acclimated for three hours and they seem to have made it.
