The Orange Eye Green Demon Shrimp is a striking new mutation of the popular Green Jade Shrimp, instantly recognizable by its vivid bright orange eyes contrasted against a shimmering green body. As a Neocaridina variety, it offers the hardiness and adaptability that both beginners and experienced hobbyists appreciate.
First bred by Michael Haesler in Germany, this exciting new addition to the hobby officially debuts in 2025 and is available in extremely limited quantities. It quickly gained attention for its eye-catching combination of brilliant green hues and intense orange eyes, giving it a "demon-like" look that stands out beautifully in any planted aquarium.
Known for their active scavenging behavior, these shrimp are excellent tank cleaners, feeding naturally on biofilm and algae. They add vibrant life to your tank while helping maintain a clean environment.
Each shrimp typically features:
