The Orange Eye Blue Demon Shrimp is a stunning new mutation of the popular Blue Dream Shrimp, instantly recognizable by its vivid bright orange eyes contrasted against a shimmering blue body. As a Neocaridina variety, it offers the hardiness and adaptability that both beginners and experienced hobbyists appreciate.
First bred by Michael Haesler in Germany, this exciting new addition to the hobby officially debuts in 2025 and is available in extremely limited quantities. It quickly gained attention for its eye-catching combination of brilliant blue hues and intense orange eyes, giving it a "demon-like" look that stands out beautifully in any planted aquarium.
Known for their active scavenging behavior, these shrimp are excellent tank cleaners, feeding naturally on biofilm and algae. They add vibrant life to your tank while helping maintain a clean environment.
Each shrimp typically features:
