The Orange Base Blue Bolt Shrimp is a rare and visually intriguing Caridina variety, developed as a vibrant offshoot of the classic Blue Bolt and Blue Steel lines. What sets this strain apart is its soft blue gradient layered over a warm orange and white base, resulting in a glowing pastel-like effect that shifts depending on lighting and mood.

Originating from German breeders, this line is a newer development in the shrimp world and still extremely limited in availability. While sharing lineage with Blue Bolts, Orange Base Blue Bolts are selectively bred for their orange-toned underlayers and milky overcoat—making them a must-have for collectors and breeders.

Each shrimp may feature:

• 🟠 Orange or peach-colored base tones beneath blue hue
• 🌫️ White-to-blue gradient across the body and head
• 🌿 Peaceful Caridina temperament ideal for species-only tanks

All shrimp are disease-free and aquarium-safe, bred in clean, shrimp-only environments to ensure healthy, strong individuals that acclimate easily.

Note: All Caridina shrimp are sold as unsexed juveniles, typically between 1/4" and 1/2" in size when possible.

• Tank Mates: Shrimp-only or peaceful nano fish only
