The Extreme Red King Kong Shrimp is one of the most popular and visually intense high-grade Taiwan Bee varieties on the market. Known for its deep, full-body red coloration and signature white tail tip, this shrimp brings bold contrast and elegance to any Caridina tank.
Selective breeding has enhanced the richness and consistency of the red coloration. These shrimp stand out especially well against dark substrates or planted tanks. Lower grade variants (A–S grade Red King Kongs) may display a lighter red tone or blackish-red patches throughout the body, but Extreme grades feature clean, vibrant red shells with minimal white markings outside the tail.
These shrimp are peaceful, thrive in soft, slightly acidic water, and are ideal for advanced hobbyists aiming to breed or showcase elite shrimp lines.
Each shrimp may feature:
