Crystal Red (Pure Red Line)

Pure Red Line Crystal Red Shrimp (PRL) are a refined version of the classic Bee Shrimp, developed through generations of selective breeding to maintain pure genetics and vibrant coloration. Introduced to the U.S. shrimp hobby scene in 2014, PRLs quickly became a favorite among aquarists for their deep red and clean white banding.

Unlike standard Crystal Reds, which are often crossbred with Golden Bee shrimp to boost white coloration, PRLs are bred solely from Crystal Red lineages. This ensures genetic purity and a more consistent visual appearance.

Each shrimp showcases:

• 🔴 Intense red and bright white coloration
• 🛡️ Clean, thick shell patterning
• 📏 Balanced body shape and size

These shrimp bring elegance and contrast to any aquascape. All shrimp are disease-free and aquarium-safe, bred in controlled, shrimp-only environments for peace of mind and easy acclimation.

Note: All Caridina shrimp are sold as unsexed juveniles, typically between 1/4" and 1/2" in size when possible.

• Temperature: 68–72°F (20–22°C)
• pH: 5.5–6.5
• GH: 3–4
• KH: 0–1
• TDS: 100–150 ppm
• Tank Size: Minimum 5 gallons
• Substrate: Active substrate (lowers pH)
• Tank Mates: Shrimp-only or peaceful nano fish only
