Blue Galaxy Tiger
Blue Galaxy Tiger
Extensive selective breeding involving Taiwan bee shrimp (Caridina cantonensis) and tiger shrimp (Caridina mariae) has yielded a diverse array of stunningly colored and patterned dwarf shrimp. Among these, the relatively recent addition to the market is the galaxy tiger shrimp, recognized for its unique white coloration against a colored body. The name "galaxy" draws inspiration from the distinctive spots on the cheeks of these shrimp, resembling miniature stars while retaining the striking "tiger" pattern along the body.
The credit for the creation of galaxy shrimp goes to Leon Su, a prominent figure in the shrimp community, known by the moniker SKYFISH. His reputation in the field is legendary, given his successful breeding of numerous exceptional Caridina cantonensis and pinto strains through selective methods.
