The Black Rose Shrimp is a stunning Neocaridina variety known for its deep, jet-black coloration and velvety finish. Selectively bred from Chocolate shrimp lines, the Black Rose has become a refined and stable line, prized by hobbyists for its bold appearance and hardy nature.
Unlike many dark shrimp that may display patchiness or transparency, high-grade Black Rose Shrimp showcase uniform black shells from head to tail. Their contrast makes them a perfect choice for planted tanks or minimalist aquascapes where their sleek color truly stands out.
As a Neocaridina species, they’re easier to keep than Caridina shrimp and thrive in a wider range of water parameters, making them a great choice for beginners and advanced keepers alike.
Each shrimp may feature:
