Due to their delicate genetics, Black Calceo shrimp require careful acclimation and thrive only in soft, clean, and stable water conditions. They are also known to breed more slowly than most Caridina, requiring extra patience from their keepers — but the results are well worth it for those seeking a rare and rewarding line.
Each shrimp may feature:
