The Orange Boa Shrimp is a striking addition to the Boa shrimp family, known for its snake-like pattern and a stunning metallic sheen along its back. Originating from selective breeding of the Galaxy Fishbone, these shrimp feature an intense contrast of deep black and vibrant orange hues that evolve as they mature.

Each Orange Boa exhibits a unique dorsal pattern—a bold stripe that gradually dissolves into an intricate, web-like pattern across the head carapace and body. The interplay between the metallic effect and the underlying orange coloration creates a mesmerizing display, making these shrimp a standout in any Caridina aquarium.

Boa shrimp are graded based on pattern intensity:

• 🔥 Grade S & SS: Some transparent areas, with visible patterning
• 🟠 Grade SSS: Nearly full-body color coverage, with deeper orange and a more intense metallic effect

All shrimp are disease-free and aquarium-safe, bred in controlled environments for healthy and stable individuals.

Note: All Caridina shrimp are sold as unsexed juveniles, typically between 1/4" and 1/2" in size when possible.

Tips for Success:
Orange Boa Shrimp require a well-cycled aquarium with soft, acidic water and ample biofilm for grazing. Due to their sensitivity, consistent water parameters and a low-stress environment are essential for their longevity and potential breeding.
